video performance // A COW WON'T EAT FOXES WHEN THE GRASS IS DRY
“A cow won't eat the foxes when the grass is dry” is a site-specific visual art film by the artist duo Monika Deimling & BBB Johannes Deimling. The film was made during the first lockdown in 2020, when the duo were trapped in Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil for three months. The film is a poetic ode to nature, place and time. Photography, performance and sound create a collage-like artistic experience. The sense of how we live today and what is important is addressed by the film's atmosphere.
