But those who venture to it, and make their way through the greasy air of brown fruit bowls, the cacophony of the small pub and the speed of wooden shuffle pucks, will find the back door. Crawl through that back door, and discover a space where performance, sound, ritual and imagination come together. Linger in the transition between ecstasy and the everyday, between carnival and fasting. And let yourself be carried away in moments of lyricism and collective exuberance, before returning to everyday life.
