6 tips for Kunstnacht 2023
Posted: 13 September 2023, 10:59 hour
On Saturday you will discover what Nijmegen and the region have to offer in terms of art & culture, with a packed program of exciting and unique crossovers in all art disciplines! How do you prepare for Kunstnacht 2023? Read along with these tips.
1. See more programming in less time
The design of Kunstnacht has been improved: where last year you visited 28 locations throughout the city to visit the complete program, the program is now clustered in four compact zones with 11 locations. Each zone has at least one location with large capacity and multiple programs, so there is always something to do and long queues are a thing of the past. Of course there are still special, small locations to visit, which will change annually. There are also still almost 60 participating parties. This year you will automatically visit more programs in less time.
2. Create your own block schedule in the app
Download the Kunstnacht app and choose your favorites from the program overview or in the block schedule. This creates your own block schedule, which you can share with friends! It doesn't matter where you start or end in the city or which direction you go. There is both a continuous program and a program with specific starting times. The program in the city center (zones yellow, blue and pink) starts at 7 p.m., the program on the NYMA-terrein (zone orange) starts at 9 p.m. This is followed by the Night Party.
In the Kunstnacht app you can also choose to receive notifications from us, so that you are always aware of the latest news!
3. Collect your wristband in advance
Please note: this year you cannot have your ticket scanned and exchanged for a wristband at every location. There is at least one central ticket scanning location per color zone. In addition, a number of scanning locations are open earlier in the day or on Friday so that you can pick up wristbands in advance and no longer have to stand in line!

5. Get in the mood at the Kunstnacht pre-party
NEW: On Friday evening, September 15, you will start your Kunstnacht vibe at the first Kunstnacht pre-party. At Loek, Brouwerij Florijn, PAAK, Het Alternatief, Club Novia and Club Freya you will find a diverse and freely accessible program: from hip-hop dance performances and interactive performances to live pop music and club evenings.
6. End your evening at the Nachtfeest
Your Kunstnacht is not complete without the Kunstnacht Nachtfeest. The doors of De Vasim open at 11:45 PM and it will be transformed into two of Down the Rabbit Hole's beloved dance floors.
