This was Kunstnacht 2023

Saturday evening, September 16, 2023, the city center of Nijmegen transformed into a vibrant center of art and culture, with programs created by almost 60 cultural organizations from Nijmegen and the surrounding area that permeated the city. Participating locations in Kunstnacht 2023 were Doornroosje, Paraplufabrieken, Stadsschouwburg, LUX, RUIS, the Mariënburg library, De Lindenberg, Besiendershuis, the Bastei and NYMA. An innovation during Kunstnacht 2023 was the introduction of color zones, which made it easy to navigate between nearby programs and discover more in less time. You flowed into the various locations from the very first moment. Join us one more time on a discovery tour of the most beautiful art and culture that Nijmegen and the region has to offer: this is what Kunstnacht 2023 was like. 💚

After the enchanting 2023 edition full of art and creativity, Kunstnacht has fallen into a deep, dreamy hibernation. But rest assured, Kunstnacht will awaken with renewed vigor next year.

As the artists prepare for their next masterpiece and the programmers forge new visions, we invite you to prepare yourself for an unforgettable experience. On that enchanting evening in 2024 you will see Nijmegen with different eyes. Kunstnacht will awaken from its slumber to greet you with a world full of art, culture and creativity.
