Bij Voorbaat Dank

In his debut collection Bij Voorbaat Dank (Thanks in Advance), poet Michael Grooff collaborates with twelve visual artists who (re)interpret his poems through an eclectic mix of artworks. Tonight, these paintings, drawings, and collages will be exhibited, alongside previously unseen works.

This collaboration uncovers new meanings and perspectives, reflecting the central themes of the collection: a journey that begins in (digital) alienation, personal loss, and a deep longing for meaning. Moments of pause are found in life itself and in sharing with others. Life, here, is revealed as a web of gratitude and trust, promises and expectations.
