But whoever dares to venture in, and makes their way through the greasy smell of brown fruit bowls, the cacophony of the small pub, and the speed of wooden shuffleboard pucks, will find something magical. Crawl through the little backdoor and discover a space where performance, sound, ritual, and imagination converge. Linger in the transition between ecstasy and the everyday, between Carnival and fasting. And let yourself be carried away by moments of lyricism and collective exuberance, before returning to everyday life.
