Roumans x Paak

For Kunstnacht, visual artist Bob Mollema, in collaboration with Simon Claessens, presents an immersive installation where color, sound, and symbolism enter into a poetic dialogue. Mollema, known for his expressive and narrative visual language, creates a world where mysticism and the everyday merge into a layered sensory experience. His work is displayed in a space where sound and atmosphere are in constant motion, inviting reflection, wonder, and presence. Claessens contributes soundscapes on analog synthesizers that complement Mollema’s pieces.

The installation takes place at Paak, the iconic vinyl bar built on music culture, social connection, and play. In collaboration with artist and curator ROUMANS, whose practice focuses on shaping rituals and identities through textiles, space, and experience, a unique cross-pollination emerges. Her curatorial perspective connects the raw intensity of Mollema’s work with the playful, analog energy of Paak.
