RUIS x Arnhemse meisjes

During a special encounter between visual arts and dance, Dance collective Arnhemse Meisjes literally sets the work of artist Yubin Lee in motion. Yubin's colorful, imaginative creatures - made with materials that personally resonate with her, such as Hanji (Korean paper), octopus ink and rice paper - seem to want to dance off the walls. Her work touches, amazes and raises questions.
Bodies meet visual arts. Visual art meets bodies. Within the exhibition at RUIS, the Arnhemse Meisjes take the audience into a sensory and surreal experience in which bodies, space and imagination come together. With their playful and expressive dance language, they open our senses to the public space and to new ways of looking. Expect a stimulating encounter between dance and visual art that surprises, moves and invites you to look differently.
