Time Stream – from Opposites to the Future

An artistic journey through 50 years of Nijmegen underground culture, art and freedom.

During the Kunstnacht, De Kaaij, together with the historic aldermen De Zeester and Opoe Sientje, forms a continuous route along images, music, poetry and stories. Visitors walk through different times in which past and present meet.

The river, the historic ships and the iconic Waalbrug form the backdrop for a program in which old and new generations of artists, musicians and creators talk to each other. From the rebellious counterculture of the 70s and 80s to the creative voices of today.
