The day of Kunstnacht is almost here. This coming Saturday, Nijmegen will transform into one giant stage, where dozens of creators will transport the audience to a world of art, music, dance, and experimentation. The city will be buzzing, green lights will dance in the sky, and over 38 unique locations will open their doors for a night full of experiences.Tip 1
💚 Pick up your wristband in advance
and avoid waiting on the day itself. If you've purchased a ticket, you can exchange the QR code for a wristband at the following locations:

💚 Plan your route with the Kunstnacht app.
With the official Kunstnacht app, you can easily create your own schedule and share it with friends and family. You'll also find a handy map in the app.The program is divided into six areas: Mariënburg, Honig, NYMA, Stevenskerk, Veerpoorttrappen, and Keizer Karelplein. This way, you can quickly see which programs are closest to each other. Waiting times may occur at some locations with limited capacity. If a location is busy or full, you can receive a notification via the app if you want. The Kunstnacht app works best with the latest update, available in the Play- or App Store

💚 Visit icons and hidden gems
Kunstnacht takes place at no fewer than 38 locations throughout the city, from iconic venues like De Vereeniging and De Lindenberg to hidden gems with their own intimate character. For example, the Besiendershuis, which is celebrating its 500th anniversary this year, opens its doors for a sensory experience with live music by Tam Nomad and light art by Phosphor Visuals. At De Vereeniging, Introdans presents the energetic performance Pink Panther Party Dance Along, an ode to the tolerant disco culture of the 1970s. At the historic Latin School, visitors are confronted with Until Spring Comes, a compelling performance about moral dilemmas, radical choices, and the power of dialogue, in which two young women find themselves diametrically opposed in a world that seems to be on fire: when things go wrong, do you fight, or do you flee?

💚 Premiere: poetry at great heights
A literal and figurative highlight during Kunstnacht is a visit to the temporary Stevens' Skywalk on the roof of St. Stevens' Church, open until the end of the month. For this evening, the Skywalk transforms into a unique experience: visitors can enjoy live poetry with panoramic views of the city, while the iconic green skybeams of Kunstnacht shine like beacons across Nijmegen.

💚 Travel creatively and quickly from place to place
There are several ways to explore the city on foot, by bike, or with the Kunstnacht bus. The famous Kunstnacht 2CV's will also be making their rounds again, with various stops throughout Nijmegen. Find more information and times here.

💚 Kick off the weekend with the Kunstnacht Pre-Party.
The fun begins on Friday, September 19th. Hubert, PAAK, Bloemerbar, and Club Novia will host a free Pre-Party, featuring a program packed with music and performances in the spirit of Kunstnacht.

💚 Dance the night away at the Night Party at De Vasim
From midnight, the legendary Night Party kicks off at the NYMA site. On the Wereldlab stage: Musica Sucura and Tapedeck Boombox, followed by Shamzon with a hypnotic mix of Arabic and Western influences. In the main hall of Vasim Events, Hubert serves up a night full of house, disco, and electronic surprises with acts like Lysah b2b Kim Josefine, Power to the Pipo, and Julia van Praag.
