At Kunstnacht, Brebl opens its doors to Festival Jazz International Nijmegen (FJIN)

This year, Brebl offers space to Festival Jazz International Nijmegen (FJIN) to curate the musical programme. FJIN has invited Inga Rothammel, frontwoman of the Inge Navn Trio and RGR. Their latest album has just been nominated for the 2025 German Jazz Prize.
Tonight, Inga performs solo, showcasing the emotional depth and raw power a baritone saxophone can evoke.

Her performance resonates beautifully with the surrounding artworks by Lewi Artworks — especially in The Escape Coffin, where visitors experience emotions in total isolation. At the same time, the inner child is invited to play with The Wobbols, oversized joysticks that allow guests to bathe the space in shifting colours and light.
