The complete programme of Kunstnacht 2025

On Saturday, September 20th, Kunstnacht returns for a new exploration of all that the Arnhem-Nijmegen region has to offer in the field of arts and culture. More than 60 cultural organizations will collaborate to create a surprising night of artistic experiences. Unique collaborations between artists from diverse backgrounds will create exciting crossovers. The Kunstnacht 2025 program is now available: from dance, performance, visual arts, music, fashion, technology, and spoken word. From skate punk with violin to philosophical comedy, from queer maze to ping-pong on piano.

The program starts at 7:00 PM and runs until midnight, after which Nachtfeest continues until 4:00 AM.In addition to all the clusters from last year, several smaller venues have been added to the program.

The NYMA Makersplaats transforms into a gigantic soundstage where Beitels & Beats by NYMA Makersplaats and Doornroosje merges the building and live music. At Waalhalla, ArtEZ, and de Schoenfabriek, you'll see raw installation art and an EDM ritual that merges dance and exhaustion. Expo Bart and De Basis offer an audiovisual playground full of pixel art and hypnotic soundscapes by Kerim Safa and Nobuka.

At Honig, sound, movement, and experiment collide. RUIS and Stichting Sinus make music tangible with a ping-pong installation on a piano. POST and Brebl present Cinematic Sands, a kinetic artwork featuring a zoetrope by Kimiya Jokar. In the raw space of BLIK, Omstand and Fetishism in Sound invite you on a free journey of discovery filled with temporary installations and informal performances.

At the Veerpoorttrappen, dance, music, and history merge with Museum De Bastei, Music Meeting, and de Arnhemse Meisjes. DeLindenberg offers a mix of performance and movement. In De Vagina Monologues, theater group GRAS explores her relationship with her body after her transition. Rollende Mina's combines skateboarding with live music in a sensory show. And during the AI Prompt Battle, organized by Kunst en Technologie, you compete with AI in a live competition using words. Cultuur op de Campus and Phosphor Visuals immerse the Besiendershuis in fire, visuals, and sound.

The Mariënburg cluster will become a hotbed of nightlife. In the Festival House, four festivals (InScience, MusicMeeting, Wintertuin, and GoShort) will create a cultural Red Light District with films, music, and literature behind the windows. Bibliotheek Mariënburg will be transformed into a sensory maze with AZOTH, DELINK, and the theater collective Mals Beton. Open Source Radio will stream live from LUX, where dancing and listening merge. Mirte Engelhard, muZIEum, and Extrapool will pose the question: what is identity without sight?

At Keizer Karelplein, De Vereeniging invites you for a unique sneak peek at Oostpools new production Pride & Prejudice, featuring three male actors playing all the roles. Introdans is hosting a disco party for everyone with its Pink Panther Party Dance Along. WEEFCollective will create a continuous installation. Valkhof Museum presents an immersive art experience with Deltatune.

In the Stevenskerk cluster, Cultuur Academy and ProcesVerbaal blend theatre with Nijmegen's idiosyncrasy at LatijnseSchool. On the church roof, Het Poeziecentrum Nederland presents various poets and spoken word artists, including the official Kunstnacht poem. At Merleyn, POPOP takes over the evening with performance art, while BiomaLab and RadboudReflects discuss biohacking. At De Witte Raaf, Soundlab takes you on an audiovisual spectacle. P-Art and TheatergroepGreppel connect music with visual drawing, and at Plak, mourning goes hand in hand with raven in the ROUWRAVE. Finally, artist Bob Mollema takes you on a layered experience of sound, color, and mysticism at Paak x Roumans.
