WHIP – The sex education you always wanted, but never received
Sexual education in the Netherlands falls short. Young people rate it at school with a 5.8 out of 10, and outside of school there is also little space to learn about sexuality in its full breadth, that means all sexualities, needs, boundaries, and forms. This can and must change.
That’s why WHIP was created: our sex bus. A mobile, interactive space where festival visitors are invited to engage in conversations about sexuality, gender, and intimacy in an accessible way. With a positive, playful, and creative approach, we create room for honest discussions, new insights, and awareness. WHIP offers sex education that truly sticks: visually engaging, stimulating to the senses, and accessible to everyone.
Good sexual education helps people set boundaries more effectively, make more conscious choices, and develop a more positive relationship with their own sexuality. WHIP brings that knowledge to places where people come together, right in the heart of festival life, where curiosity and openness are already present.

BO Diversity works to improve the mental well-being of queer people and women. In doing so, BO contributes to building a society in which norms around gender and sexuality are questioned and reshaped, so that everyone can feel free, safe, and seen.
