Witte Raaf x Meneer Otis

During Kunstnacht 2026 we will wonder into the medieval cellar vaults of de Witte Raad. What do De Witte Raaf and Meneer Otis have in common? Turns out we both love storytelling & comedy, and Grolsch bien sur! We did a deep search in our locals-rolodex and came up with a kek program:
Farbod Moghaddam is a Dutch-Iranian comedian and then found his way to Nijmegen via The Hague and Utrecht. He has been on stage since 2008 with a style that combines personal stories, social themes and humor. In 2018, he won the jury prize at the Leiden Cabaret Festival with his performance Gelukstreffers. In addition to cabaret, he also gives workshops and is active as a presenter and storyteller.
The Nijmegen comedian Jelmer Bruurs is critical of everything he didn't come up with himself, he should actually go into politics but doesn't want to take responsibility. Trying to change the world by laughing about it, Jelmer will show that that is as naive as it sounds.
Jorn ten Brink is back home in Nijmegen after 12 years of wandering. During the day he works as a PhD student at Radboud University, where he investigates professional identity tensions. And at night? Then he sleeps. Because Jorn does not always succeed in conveying his scientific research in a clear story, he seeks his life in forms such as storytelling and improvisation theater. Jorn would prefer to combine this and improvise his story on the spot, but he doesn't dare...
Nora Badr is a Nijmegen queer comedian of half Dutch and half Egyptian origin. With her comedy, she explores themes around identity, translating painful, uncomfortable and personal experiences into humor. Her style is characterized by a strong dose of self-mockery and finding lightness in complex subjects.
